I feel like i am a hermit in my own home as in I dont care if I see anyone are talk to anyone as in Family, etc. Been this way for several months now. I see there have been several questions on this subject but wondered how someone like this could crawl out of being like this. I feel like crawling under a rock and just staying there. Got any advise?

Anti-social by definition means you do not care what effect your actions and words have on other people.

As to the rest of your question, I seem to be getting mixed signals. On one hand, you are "OK" with being alone, yet on another, you seem to wish to change this situation. It would be best to talk with someone about this who can help you decide what it is you really want, and help you make any changes you see fit to accomplish that goal.

Therapists are a good choice for help, but there may also others in your community that might be able to give you some insights (Religious leaders, trusted freinds)

Sounds like you're depressed or maybe a chemical/hormonal imbalance (any hot flashes?) or maybe a combination. Go talk to your doctor, have blood work done and get a complete check-up. Yeah, I know, you don't feel like doing that, either, but you have to force yourself to find a solution. If it's not physical, then it's emotional or psychological. Vicious cycle, right? Since you're asking for advice, you're obviously concerned enough to know something just isn't right. Go to your doctor!

Hope you feel better soon. I truly feel for you. Take care and GO!

Yes, you may be depressed. Has anything happened that might make you depressed? If not, then I don't you should worry too much about it. I used to be the same way for about a year. But I do suggest that you visit a counsellor.

Good luck!

I think you're doing the right thing. Most people today aren't worth associating with, and you need to select your friends carefully. Associating with your family is really the best. I think you're fine.

Don't disbelieve in yourself, or others here that lead you to believe that there's something wrong with you. I've had a lot of experience in life and most of them haven't.

Party of One -- The Loner's Manifesto by Anelli Rufus.

You may be depressed or anxious, you may be a natural introvert, or you may be a loner. Check out this book and see if it resonates with you.

First of all, this is not called "anti-social", this is most likely depression, with possibly some social anxiety. If it has sudden onset for no apparrent reason, talk to yoru doctor. If ithas a situation cause, investigate this.

You need to study Allan Kardec's books. In other life, you made something and you don't remember what. So you are depressive. You need a doctor, too.

I cannot give you advice on that because I too am antisocial. I have sociopathic tendencies. I am reclusive because everyone is normal and I am not.
