Easy. Get yourself a second set of the A/V cables. On the yellow plug, use pliers to completely remove the big pin in the middle, just rip it out. This will cause your PS2 to have no picture.
If you're willing to open your PS2, there should be a thin ribbon cable between the CD/DVD reader and the main board. This is probably a latching ribbon connector, so be careful and figure out how the latch works. Then, disconnecting this cable from the main board will cause the PS2 to be unable to read disks. Reconnecting the cable will make it able to read again.
---I don't remember if the power supply is a separate board in the PS2, I know it is in the original playstation. If so, you'll see a board where the power comes in, and a cable connecting it to the main board. It's a MUCH more robust (durable) plug than the ribbon cable I just spoke of and should handle being plugged and unplugged a lot better. Disconnecting it would cause your PS2 to have no power, even with the AC plugged in.
If you are able to COMPLETELY MEMORIZE THE MENUE to do this, changing your PS2 to Yr/Pr, whatever, will cause a scrambled or blank display. Better make sure you memorize how to change it back! (Or have a TV that actually uses this setting. If your TV uses this setting, switching it to the opposite option should cause the same problem)
CAUTION: Use all of this information at your own risk. Neither I nor Yahoo are responsible for any damage you cause to your PS2. Please be careful to follow any directions accurately.

Faking the second wiring pieces get a second set of yellow wire in the back from junkstore , and set the controls
to the default for no private name. Look up in manual there
is a note on how to secure the system to extremely limited
set up, similar to parental controls.

Take a screwdriver and pop a couple of holes in it or something. Or if you really want to get drastic, loosen the screws and pry the case apart. When I opened mine to fix my CD drive, I never did bother to close it back up.

Pry the case off so you can put it back on later. Make sure you do it when no one is looking...
