new year's eve party question.?

Question

I'm throwing a "simple little" party for about 15 friends at my house, we're not celebrating christmas or anything, just getting together, but I thought since it's the end of the year I thought about doing a New Year's Eve theme party and I was looking for some tips for decoration, entertainment, how would you set the table? and what would you wear?

put confetti on the table like as a table runner and if they are girl friends serve an alcholic drink like martinis or margaritas and have different color fluffy things around the bottom of the glasses to tell whos glass is whos and end the party around 12 30 so yall can do the little new years countdown thing and what not and where a cute cocktail dress just check out hobby lobby for there new years decorations good luck

Formal wear is tradition for a New Years Eve party. Do balloons, streamers, a big punch bowl, confetti and lots of champagne.

EDIT: Cheers, Goldfish! :-) ~*~*~ properly, easily all of the Aussies, merely via fact it may be greater common to organise, lol ~ so initiate with Zucchinis, your self, Twilight and any floating Kiwis, too ;-P yet of direction if return and forth/distance grow to be no merchandise, everybody!
