You just need to tell them that the person doesn't live there and you don't know where they live and to stop calling you. If they continue to call after that, it is harrassment and you should file a complaint

Just tell them that this person doesn't live with you any longer and give them the new number ,if you have one. This person put your number on the application, so it is all they have. If you have caller ID you could also not answer the calls. If someone asks, "Let me speak to....." you can hang up, because that is the way agencies start the conversation.
I would then, get in touch with this person and tell them to contact the agency and give them the right number and pay them, because they are harrassing you.

I am having that problem. Someone is calling me several times a day..They did this a few months ago and finally stopped and now it's started again. each time it's from a different number..they are calling my cell phone (my minutes)..I have to save the number under (wrong number or don't answer, etc) so I will know not to answer it...I think I am going to have my number changed..the only way I am going to have any peace..It's an option..threatening them doesn't work..I tried that. First state that the person there wanting doesn't live there, then tell them to take your number off there calling list. A lot of people don't know that legally if you tell them to take you off they cant call you any more.

Tell them that you want to speak to a manager immediately.
Then tell the manager that you are being harrassed by the company and will seek legal action if they continue to call. Tell them that people do change phone numbers and move so this is no longer their phone anymore. sound very firm it often scares em off. and that tele zapper thing is good too.

Get a unlisted number, and a tela-zapper. That's what I'm going to do the first of the year.
