I agree. Australia only has to get the bottom 5 of the pommy batting order in 90 overs and the english need something like 260 runs to win.
It can still be done by either team and I can't see a draw happening as when the poms go defensive, they always give a catch to Gillchrist or Warne in 1st slip!
The poms have to attack, Ponting has to set the right fields and McGrath has to do something like last night!
Aussie Chance of winning 65% Poms, 30% Draw, 5%!
Go aussies!

No I'm afraid not. But they're not rubbish. Australia are a brilliant Test team miles ahead of the opposition. As a patriotic Englishman it hurts to say this but well done Australia! You deserve it.

The only way England can get a 100 runs is when they are bowling.

As an English man, no. Like most English (ie. Tim Henman, Cricket, Rugby, Football) they get so far might win a few trophies then you don't hear nything for years, maybe decades.

This ashes series has been a disaster so far and unfortunately I can’t see it improving. To answer your question, no - even putting on a decent show seems beyond this squad.

Yes, they can....as they hold it currently....can they win the test tomorrow?....probably not, but we all hope and wait for a KP and AF double century stand!....
can they draw this test match and win the next two....i doubt it....I am as patriotic an english man as the next man, but I have to be a realist too.

The odds are against it. The whole team need to dig deep and find that "Ian Botham" attitude.

Not at all. They will loose the Ashes series. What margin they will loose is to be seen.
