Having been to Turkey twice myself. They very friendly people. Istanbul is fabulous city. The famous blue Mosque. Mind you Turkey has a long way to go before it would ever be allowed to be a member of the EU. But sadly few things haven't change in Turkey for example of this 'Honor' Killings in Turkey" plus the role of women in Turkey.

Know very little. Have friends from there.

All I've met from there are muslim and they were saying only 100,000 christains there, so not sure what other religions.

Does not surprise me many cultures.

Religious people there more like those here I gather; i.e., they firmly believe in separating church and state, and I think thats great/
