How long does it take to buy plane tickets and stuff an extra change of clothes in a bag? I think about 10 minutes.
And then it'd take me about an 2 hours to get to the nearest airport.
And then I think it takes about a day to fly from California to Africa.
So it'd take about one day before my little sibling was at my side.

That would be impossible since my father has been dead over five years. But if a relative of mine was in trouble or starving, I would do whatever I could to rescue them.

What an excellent humanitarian question !!! All of our brothers & sisters in Africa deserve our help. My mission is currently in these United States of America. I support others ; individual efforts in donations to specific charities to Africa & other 3rd world nations!
