When you are pregnant you are going to have an odor...your body is changing....but most of the time you still want to get it checked out by the doc just so he can say ok. Yes, it is true that you will have your period for a long while after your baby is born....the length of time varies for each person but mine was about 3 weeks. But it does slow down some...it will not stay to heavy. You need to wait for as long as the doc says to have sex after the baby is born.....usually around 6 weeks....the reason for this is because if you had any stitches put in then they need to dissolve and believe it or not after that baby comes out you are going to need to heal and you won't think about having sex for at least 3 weeks so it won't be hard to get through!!! You can have sex all the way through your pregnancy as long as there are no precautions insisted on by the doctor because of other health issues.....it is quite safe and stimulating!!! If the baby has slowed down kicking it is probably just because he is running out of room as he grows to move around alot. My son did that too and I was scared to death but the doctor told me that he was just growing too big to move around like he used to. Your abdomen can only stretch so far, after all!!! Congrats and good luck.....and do take the advice about the sleep!!!

Darling, your discharge should never have an odor. Pregnant or not! That is a sign of infection. When you go to the ob/gyn make sure they test you for chlamydia, gonnorhea, trichomonias, strep group A and yeast. Your period depends on you. Some people it only lasts a week sometimes more. If it happens that it lasts longer than two weeks, make sure the doctor checks your hemoglobin. Studies say wait a least 6 weeks after delivery. It takes your body roughly a year to recover from this type of trauma. I say get on BIRTH CONTROL ie: depo-provera or iud, and wait 2 weeks after that to make sure it works effectively. You can have sex up until the day of delivery but don't have rough sex, it could be traumatic to the fetus. If your baby isn't kicking the way it use to, please go to the emergency room so they can put you on a monitor to make sure the child is o.k. That and the combination of discharge doesn't look good!! Don't be scared. You'll be fine. Just think a little bigger, you have someone else depending on you!

odor=normal (as long as its not fishy)
after the baby period is called lochia and can last for 1-6 wks (i had it for 2) and its expelling all the stuff incl blood left in the uterous.
as far as having sex after the baby, when you feel you can, do it. if it hurts, stop, don't push yourself)remember that you can get pregnant.
sex during pregnancy? in the third trimester sperm can put you into labour=bad until around 40 wks
and as long as it moves it should be ok. and if you're scared go to the hospital, and usually in the labour and the delivery ward the nurses are more than happy to help you. (very friendly nurses up there)
congratulations!!

When I was pregnant, I had smells I never thought I'd have. If it smells fishy, so to the doc. Could be an infection. I bled on and off for three months, but it isn't a period. Save your pregnancy panties so you won't mess your nice ones up.
You can have sex six weeks after (your body closes back up), if you do it before that you are more likely to get preg again or get an infection. You are going to be so tired, sex will probably be your last thought. Sleep as much as you can now.
As the baby gets bigger, he will not be able to move as much, but he should still move everyday. If not, go to the ER.

Yes, it is true that you will have your period for awhile after you have your baby. Your body goes through alot and needs time to heal. I waited tell I got on birth control to have sex because you are real fertile after you have a baby. Your baby will fall asleep all the time when your pregnant. There is nothing to worry about. I went through the same thing.
