One country one law, if anything is good for country why not it,s good for it,s citizens?what do you think.?

Clearly my question is regarding common civil code.And only logical answers please.

Yes this is a very important issue & I am already advising a person regarding the problem she is facing in getting divorce under the Indian Divorce Act,1869 where the grounds for divorce are very limited and make it very difficult for any party proffessing Christian religion in India to get divorce as another person proffessing Hindu religion & married under the Hindu Marriage Act,1955. It is not only the marriage & divorce related issues but even maintenance ,adoption, inheritance issues that effect & diferrentiate amongs the citizen of the country. Unfortunately the religious heads of minorities such as muslims & christians dont understand the gravity of this issue but only to satisfy their own ego resist the implication of common civil code that was promised & is guranteed in the Constitution Of India. If there can be common criminal code for all citizen why cant we have a common civil code? This issue is never touched by even the political parties least they will loose there minority vote banks. We live in 21 century & talk about globilization/liberization and what not but still follow the centuries old civil laws which have become obselete & outdated. The Supreme Court of India has mentioned of implication of the common civil code but Govt gives a deaf ear to this proposal. If political parties like BJP makes it an election issue such parties are called fasist and against minorities. So what one can say ,you guys call yourself MODERN come out openly & speak in its favour irrespective of your religion ,caste or creed,.

There can be no law written for a country but not its citizens. Without people, a country consists of woods, mountains, lakes, prairies, etc.
All laws are written to control the action of people, the citizens and non-citizens, nothing for the people-less land.
