Your son is gaining weight, so don't worry! If he is happy, feeding well and sleeping well, don't worry! I would start introducing him to other foods now though, perhaps some fruit and some veg. Fruit and veg are easy to digest and once he has taken to these, then start adding protein. Remember though, no seasoning and homemade is always best. As he will only be tasting at this stage, keep aside a spoon or two of your veg, and then puree it for him to have later! This is an exciting time for you both, so if he refuses, just leave it! He will eventually enjoy the different flavours and you will also work out which he enjoys more than others! Have fun!!

each and every newborn is diverse. in the adventure that your instincts say he's high quality, do no longer pay attention to what people inform you, you are able to desire to consistently communicate to a paediatrician or well being customer approximately this. If he's arising usually and doing what babies his age does, that's ok. possibly you're breastfeeding, and breastfed babies do tend to be smaller, and additionally looking on his genes. in case you and your companion are small,or perhaps grandparents count selection lots. that's humorous how we undertaking, I basically took my son to the toddler sanatorium in the present day because of the fact he's transforming into sooo rapidly. he's 17 weeks and already 17lbs 6 oz... He replaced into 7lbs 7ozs whilst he replaced into born, and everybody thinks he's dumb, assuming he's approximately 7 months and not doing lots!!! I could desire to maintain a watch on his nutrition plan because of the fact if he save on like this there's a gamble of youngster obesity, and he will could desire to work out a nutritionist. properly, consistently see the physician in case you're worried, yet consistently stick on your instincts, if needed seek for a 2d opinion from a diverse physician. appropriate of success

He has went from 3.5kg to 9.6kg. He's is fine they say as long as he has tripled his weight by one year he will be fine. Breastfeed babies take longer to put on weight anyway. The formula feed babies put on weight quickly but formula babies caught up round about their first birthday all babies are different and grow at different rates if you are ever really concerned go to you doctor and get some advice.

As long as he is gaining weight, even if only a little at a time, you should not worry. Concern would be if his weight stayed the same or he was losing weight

What's that in pounds? I shouldn't worry, my good mate's daughter is and always has been small and not weighed a lot. The health visitor would have said something to you if she was concerned.

No need to worry. As long as the baby has doubled his birthweight by 6 months, that is perfectly ok! Your baby has exceeded this, so all is good.

It's impossible to formulate an answer just by what you are saying. Those are questions that you need to ask your pediatrician and/or nurse practitioner.
