I have written a childrens book and called an agent who agreed to have a look at it. So, I sent it to her 5months ago and every time I called her since then (about 4 times), she is never available to talk to me and does not call me back. I have also sent 2 emails and got no reply. I know that agents are very busy, but she agreed to have a look at it. I dont even know if she likes my book. Is she just being rude and inconsiderate, or do you think that something else is going on??

I think she's being rude and inconsiderate. I hope you only sent a cop. In that case go ahead and explore your options and send it to a few more companies.

stay on it, be persistant, yes they are busy and trust me if she didnt like it she would break it to you. knock on the same door everyday eventually it will get answered
but of course knockin on the doors in the neighborhood dont hurt a thing either
