He got shot in the hip and in his butt cheek...he wen tot the hospital but he doesnt really have insurance so they didnt remove the bullets...they just told him that they would just stay in there..is it even safe to have a bullet stay in your body and does anyone recommend anything for him to do?he wants them to be removed but like i said he doesnt have insurance and not alot of money..they just told him to clean the wound and stuff like that...are there any free clinics that can help out with stuff like this?

yea he just doesnt want bullets in him but cant afford to get them removed...he doesnt know what to do from here

sometimes its safer to leave them where they are,since removing them can cause problems...even if he doesnt have insurance if removing them would be in his best interest by law he can not be refused treatment...both areas you mention are fleshy and have extra padding on them so leaving them in would be an option,when you say he was shot in the hip i'm going to assume you mean the fleshy part and he didnt take a bullet in the bone itself

i cant give you much information, but im sure is the doctors have left them in it should be safe. Dont worry too much.. I hope he's ok..
