People here in the Bay Area either go to Lake Tahoe, or southern California

Uh, do you have any idea how BIG Northern California is?

I'm sure there are many things to do, places to go, people to see on New Year's Eve.

Are you looking for a party in Eureka, or Sonora, or San Francisco, or any other of the several THOUSAND cities and towns in Northern California ... or what?

In Northern California, people just sit around, stare at each other, and wish they were in LA. Not really, because most people in NoCal hate SoCal, because it's overcrowded, crime-ridden and insensitive. (Not to mention they suck up all the state's water). When I was in NoCal, we had great parties. Sometimes in fields with bonfires, sometimes at Tahoe, sometimes at a restaraunt, or someone's house, or a barn, at a lake (so we could go skinny dipping polar bear style after the midnight fesitivities to start the year off.) Use your imagination. If you don't have one - move.
