is there any way to get scratches out of cds without paying for it

The best buy stores 20 dollar special scratch repair. Surprising
it scrubs the cd with a total lite wax effect, so far 6 for 6.
There is an electric model about 40.00, and a small hand
model at circuit city works for fine tuning.

Ask any your friends if they hae a cd cleaner(Hey, it's easier than buying your own, lol). If not, then try using tooth paste on it. Just rub a little bit on the scratch with a q-tip and use a damp cotton ball to wipe off the excess tooth paste. I've heard of some people using rubbing alchohal, but I don't think it really works.

I've seen people use any type of wax (like Turtle Wax) You just have to really buff and polish it out really good. Basically any compound that will fill in the scratches would help.

Nothing will..Unless it is professionally cleaned..all that other stuff just makes it look shiny..
