"When someone speaks of being a "Double ________" (sign of the zodiac) it is another way of saying that both the Sun and The Moon were in the same Sign at the moment of birth. This would always happen for a birth exactly at the New Moon, for example, and on either side of the New Moon for the period of time that the Moon remains in the same sign as the Sun. "

In regards to a Double Sagittarius: "The sign of Sagittarius is often associated with individuals who possess a strength of conviction or may be considered to be opinionated. When both the Sun and the Moon are in Sagittarius in the natal chart, these strongly held beliefs are virtually non-negotiable and the individual feels that their opinions deserve respect."

You can probably assume that a double Sagitarrius is someone who has the same Sun and Moon signs. Astrology bases there signs on the specific date and place of your birth and the stars are all aligned in a certain fashion when you are born. Just so happens the moon and sun were probably in Sag. Think of it as a fine glass of wine seasoned to the elements and environment. There is more to astrology than just the Sun. Actually up untill about 40 years ago people referred to their "sign" as the moon, today we use the sun.

The birth chart would confirm that the Sun and the Moon share the same Sign. The implications of such an arrangement would be a relatively congruous combination of the anticipated energies. This serves to amplify and dramatically emphasize the impact of the given sign in person's chart and in his or her life.

After all, when you're right, you're right. Sagittarians are generally outgoing (or gregarious), self-assertive, and may associate themselves with what they consider to be a worthy or noble cause.

It means your sun is in Sagittarius (regular astrological sign) and the moon also happens to be in Sagittarius when you are born.
