My son was exactly the same way up unill about 3 days ago! He was so eager to crawl and gain some control over his surroundings....but he just couldn't do it. He would get on his hands and knees and cry :( He just figured out how to crawl (although it's slow) three days ago. Since then he is MUCH happier! Does your daughter have a play gym, a saucer, or a jumperoo? Those were Ian's favorites. He would get bored after a while with them, but it did satisfy him for a lttle bit

My seven month old has this problem but with walking. She screams, at herself, because her legs don't do what she wants. Well that is why I think she is crying anyway! LOL She picks up her legs and they move every which way and then she starts in with the tears. It is horrible. We keep encouraging her to crawl but all she wants to do is stand and lunge forward. Oh well I guess it will pass.

This is natural for them. they want to mave and they are just learning to deal with emotions that they are feeling for the first time. Just help her out a bit by holding your hand under her belly and let her hold her legs there and you move her a little bit. This will help her get the isea of how to move. Give her lots of belly time, supervised, so she can start strengthing those muscles that will help her to move.

yes my daughter is the same. just give her plenty of tummy time and she'll soon be able to move. all babys get frustrated thats how they learn. my daughter would get frustrated if she couldnt reach something now she rolls over or pushes herself up or wiggles to get something.

She will figure it out soon enough and then the fun will begin. You'll be wishing she couldn't get around so good. Don't push her she will get it on her own.
