I am supposed to be receiving a check for not working (worker's comp) but my doctor said I should be doing light duty work. What in the world is that, and what kind of work does he mean?

light duty pretty much means a desk job, nothing too strenuous,,, nothing too many hours in one position,,, standing, kneeling,,sitting etc,, and often it means less hours,,,,,, for construction work, unless they had an office you could work in, answer phone etc, i dont really think any of the jobs would qualify, nor would the company let you come back,,,,,,,
i do inventory work in stores, counting things on shelves, light use of a small ladder in some stores, nothing physically hard at all,, and i couldnt even return until i was cleared for full duty,,,after i had fractured a knee,,,,,
