The car has only done 900 miles could it be that the brakes are still bedding in or is there more of a problem.? It's only when the brakes are touched lightly.

it sounds to me to be a misshaped anti squeal shim behind the brake pad..but i would take it to where you bought it from and get them to look at it

Every car maker recomends their original parts. It is not a general rule but when it comes for brakes its best to replace with original parts. Brake pads usually make sounds when the material of the linings do not match the material of the drums or disk.

The brakes shouldn't make a noise. Its new, ask the dealer to check it out.

You break discs are rubbing. Perhaps they are a bit dirty or they just haven't bedded in properly yet.
