No one should tolerate nasty behavior but you notice its the bullies of this world that seem to get all the media hype and for some reason they are always backed by cash. Before a bully would grow up now its the grown ups that are the bullies. You can't smoke, you can't drink, you can't drive this car, you can't dislike obnoxious people, you can't let this store in town... they are taking our freedom and the majority stand there and nod their heads like its okay.

Does this refer to George Bush & Tony Blair vs Saddam Hussein? They weren't tolerant, but they don't look so clever. Is the tolerance shown to N Korea so far looking clever? The trouble is, some people are just fools, and it'll show whenever they have to deal with something. Other people get it right, like Margaret Thatcher and the Falkland Islands, her intolerant response showed the nasty guys for the fools they were. There isn't a simple rule, there's no subtitute for good judgement.

no its just a matter of time. Some people retaliate. Some people keep tolerating upto a certain limit / time period and then teach them a good lesson. Doesn't mean your dumb. If however you take someone's nonsense for ages for no rhyme or reason then well uh.........all the best to you!!

As long as no one puts a hand on me, I can totally ignore them. To ignore someone is the ultimate form of insult. If you feed into it, they win.
