When we have marching in school... they say "attention" and another word sounding like "staneties" when poeple can stand in a relaxed position. What is tha exact word, sounding like staneties?

It's stand at ease.

After the 'halt' and if nothing is about to happen, the command is 'stand at ease' which means you can relax to a certain extent but be ready for a command of 'attention'. If nothing is happening at all the 'stand at ease' is followed by the command 'stand easy' which means you can basically stretch etc., until the 'stand at ease' or 'attention' commands are given. They are all military commands...............
