(Magnesium) Mg (s) +( Hydrocholoric Acid) 2HCL(aq) =
Magnesium Chloride plus Hydrogen - i.e MgCl2 (aq) + H2 (g)

Yep that's definately right.. was just trying to remember my A Level chemistry
