because when your mouth is open it relaxes the muscles in your face, so you dont blink as much, making it easier.

I can put on mascara without opening my mouth, but i think its just that some women open there mouth as they find it easy to put on mascara that way.

There are some of us that don't try catching flies whilst putting on mascara you know. I've asked women that do this the same question, their answers are "I don't know, I just can't put it on unless I do that" then they give a stupid giggle.

Someone already asked this question. But anyway i have my mouth closed. Sometimesit's more comfortable for differemt women i think it also helps make the eye open up more.

Because its a natural position when you are concentrating so hard on something - catching flies - like if you were playing a game that was really intense your mouth might hang a bit.

thats very true they cant give an answer ::::;just as when feeding a baby (putting a spoon to their mouths) they do the same "but try keeping a womans mouth shut ????
