it is executor or executrix...male or female and it means that you are responsible to see to it that the wishes of the deceased are carried out...may also be responsible for cleaning out property..paying bills...disposing of belongings etc. a fee is paid out of the estate for the "job" that you do handling things. The attorney for the estate will advise you...good luck
