Should Ben Roethlisberger have quarterbacked from his motorcycle for the first 8 games? just curious. would the steelers have benefited from it?

he should not have QBed in the first 8 games
it is not because i belive Batch is a better QB, but Roethlisberger has too much injures and problems (the Accident, the surgeries, etc.) and he did not have enough time to rest from his injuires and not enough time to get mentally prepared. if you notice how he played in those first 8 games, he watched the rushers more than his recivers, and he did not step forward into his throws, just flinched alot. in my opinion with Cowher's style of coaching, you need a manager type QB (like Roethlisberger). Batch is a good QB with a great arm, not as great of a Managing type of QB, but he gets the job done. i think he's one of the best Backup QBs in the NFL and would have done a good job in those first 8 games

If Ben hadn't had his brains scrambled and than had appendicitis we'd probably had a killer season this year, it just took a little time for him to get his confidence back and as you can see for today's game WE DEY so don't count us steeler fans out just yet dont you rember what last year was like our record sucked and we went all thae way so say what you want good or bad we steeler fans love our guys no matter what .HERE WE GO!!!

I think Batch is better than Roethlisberger.
We have probably the most reliable backup in the NFL.
It irks me that Cowher never lets him play for more than
like, 5 minutes. And he's never really made any bad plays.
I think had Batch played some of those games, we would be on the road to the playoffs. [I still believe we have a slight chance though!] (:

No otherwise we wouldn't be struggling for a wild card right now, but he has been playing good these past few weeks especially today:)
