1994 Dodge Intrepid won't start. It sat for a year and I just put a new battery in it and it started right up for a day or 2. Then I went to start it again and it won't start. I put a new coil pack in it, new plugs and recently put a crank position sensor on it. What could it be?

Simple computer most start at the easy ones in hopes for a cheaper cure plugs unless ther are more than 3 bad not them coil pack easy to check before replacing. Junk yard sells them for about 60-80 bucks and have been tested beforhand the dealer can check yours but it aint cheap. Had one same thing except my buddy was a machanic so he save me alot of trouble and $$$$!!!! Goodluck

The fuel could be bad. When gas sits for a long time it will get gunky. When you started it the first time you probably got clean gas, but then and the car was moving it stirred it up. Go to a auto parts store and ask for a fuel conditioner or restorer. That still might not solve it, there could be water in the gas. What ever one it is, make sure to check the fuel filter often.

im thinking along the lines of fuel problems, take off your gas cap and have someone else turn on the key till dash lites are on without cranking, hold your ear up to the filler neck and listen for a humming sound, that will verify your fuel pump in the tank is working properly, then remove fuel filter on frame and try to blow thru it, it could be plugged! if you need more easy tests, email me at carguy6013@aol.com

sounds like it may nicely be your camshaft/crankshaft sensors. The modify your gasoline injectors to spray on the right circumstances. beforehand they fail all at the same time they many times fail at larger RPMs. i'd also verify a spark plug are to and make confident there not any strange develop gunk on them. i'd also verify your rotor on your distributor, it may nicely be on its very last leg. i will't imagine of a few thing else. good success!
