If they are no longer interested in anything they used to be, are numb to emotion or rarely ever show it, don't let anything bother them anymore (especially the things that should), and seem cold and unaffectionate, maybe unsympathetic / unempathetic

i think being emotionally tired rolls over into physically tired. my father passed away 11 months ago, and i remember coming home from the funeral and being so exhausted not just emotionally (because i hadn't stopped crying for seven days), but also physically. i could not drag myself up the stairs to go to bed, i felt as though i had a thousand pounds weighing me down. i also had friends tell me a month or two later that during the time of his passing and the funeral, that i looked "shrunken", "skeletal", and "ash colored". (These were very close trusted friends who told me these things, and were just concerned about my well-being, not being critical). i think you can be uncaring and detached from others as well when you're emotionally tired, and not even know you're doing it.

If your emotionally tired you usually stop crying and become rather stoic in character, you don't care about anyone including yourself.

When a person stops trying to help people and just accepts them for who they are and what they do. You must be tired if you rather accept it than attempt to better the situation
