i'm thinking the fuse might have went out when my cruise control quit working but i can't find the fuse the chart dosen't show which one it is can anyone help?

Fuses on mercs are all on the left side if the fuse box for all assessories. If it is factory if installed aftermarket should be right near the end of the stearing coloum where the leads come out of!!!!

There is a safety feature built into the brake-light system that does not let the cruise control work if the upper (3rd) light in the rear window does not work when the brakes are applied----the other answers don't apply as I'm sure that you can read the fuse box panel list and see if it indicates which fuse controls the C>C> --check all lights for proper function ...wc

cruise control is normally mixed with the radio fuse or hazard light fuse. cruise alone doesn't take much power so they link it with others.

if the cruise quit working...check all fuses. if all good, then your next step would be to have the button or arm of the cruise control (where its at on your dash or steering wheel) inspected. Most do go bad at the switch. I know a new switch for most GM's are about $100 so Ford can't be much more.
