do you have to prove financial stability to come from russia to UK?

Basically Yes. You have to show that you are not travelling to the UK just to earn money. But if you have plenty of money already, its easy to get an entry visa.

I do not know about The U.K. but in the U.S.A. you have to make 25% over the poverty level over the last three years. You have to show a copy of your W-2 form and a copy of your tax return over the last three years.

i would say no. but if it was from russia to usa. i would say yes.
