for some reason yahoo removed my second question for every1......but it was........the eggs are there one day and the next they are not.......if they are not hatching than y would the male eat them?? is that common......should i remove him from the tank after he has done his job?

if your talking about fish remove the male and female after eggs are hatched then when babies are big enough put parents back in.
