Try and find better ways to do your job or to coordinate with other people you need to work with. If you have some spare time, put it in to researching ways to making the job better, quicker, more profitable, or for creating new products or processes that help the bottom line.

Look at jobs in the company around you that you think might be more to your liking. Find out how to get into them, show some interest in the people that do those jobs, maybe help them out if you can.

Figure out how to make your boss's job easier. Show an interest in his/her problems/requirements and work on them to the extent you're able.

Maybe you'll end up with less boring work to do and a better paycheck.

Boredom is a choice, much the same as anything else. Boredom being your minds way of saying, PLEASE lets do SOMETHING.

Noble and admirable choices when this strikes is to try to do the job you are being paid to do better, or do the job you are required to do until you define what is better. Learn what you can do to add value in your present experience, and you will be richly rewarded in your capacity to help others. Not giving your full attention to those who are rewarding you financially is a sure fire way to decrease your longevity on that job and prosperity in future ones.

If ALL your work is really done and your boss isn't around to get some more, try these things
- clean out your inbox
- file things that have been sitting on your desk
- clean out old emails you don't need anymore
- do anything else productive and makes it look like to everyone else that you are just not sitting there twiddling your thumbs

Be a good employee.First look around and check the work you have done is it correct?Next clean your area it makes brownie points.After that offer to help others.Really only lazy people get truly bored.Think of funny stuff jokes or movies you have seen to put you in a good mood.
