Does anyone know the song that 16 year old Lorelai is listening to on her cd player?

In the Gilmore Girls episode entitled "Dear Emily and Richard"(season 3, episode 56) you see a flashback of 16 year old Lorelai in the hospital waiting room where she is listening to a song on her cd player right before they take her back because she's in labor. Does anyone know what the song she is listening to there is?

I think it was a German song about a balloon causing a war or something weird like that.
