If you're looking for decorations and whatnot, you're probably going to have to keep an eye out starting now; a lot of stores, such as drug stores and department stores like Kmart have started marking their stuff down 25% already. They don't want to have to send the stuff back to the manufacturer, so it's chaeper for them to discount it before Christmas these days.
Craft stores like JoAnn's and Michael's have already discounted their stuff 40%.

For holiday/seasonal items, any store after Christmas will have them on sale. Really, I think just about every store has some kind of after Christmas sale so just hit the stores and hope you will find some good deals.

I have been having great luck with www.slickdeals.net and www.spoofee.com.

On both sites, posters put up the great deals they have found (advertised or not) on the web and in real brick and mortar stores. They usually can give you great coupons to go along with the sale to save you even more money!

Amazon.com will also have some great one day specials. I have stumbled upon these all Christmas season long.

Also, two great places for coupons for online and in-store are;

www.wow-coupons.com and
www.ratherbeshopping.com

Generally speaking, electronic items are the best bargains on Boxing Day (Dec 26th). Look in your local newspaper for flyers and ads. Happy Shopping!

hit macy's where the prices are higher and they get less volume than a target or wal mart and load up on super cheap ornaments, wrapping paper, ribbons, gift tags, stockings for the mantle...I do that and get loads of stuff for next to nothing.
