It's hard to handle, but people change. Maybe you don't have as many things in common, or maybe she's just going through a tough time. Give her a break, let her sort things out. Or maybe you should ask her what's wrong, without having a selfish air. Tell her that you care for her, and no matter what happens, you'll love her for who she is. She might just get some comfort, so that she'll be able to tell you what's really bothering her.

Perhaps something is happening in her life that she doesnt want to talk about. Abused in some way. She may be scared that she would get hurt more if she let others know. Basically tell her that you are her friend and if she does have any problems and would like to talk about it, you would be there.

Otherwise I wouldnt know what is going on. She probably has some reason to be that way. Just let her know that you're there as her friend and that wont change.

"I don't want to but I have to" means she feels she has no choice other than not talking with you. Maybe you repeated something she told you, or she thinks you did. Maybe someone else is involved making her feeling she "has to" There isn't much you can do, be available if she wants to talk, that's what a friend does. I would start looking for another friend to talk to though.

Give her some space for awhile. Maybe she is going through something in her life that she just needs to handle by herself. You can then try talking to her again after some time passes.

She might be just taking a break from you, or she thinks you might be growing apart. Try and talk to her seriously, and ask her what's going on.
