iTunes won't play my iPod?

Question

After an update, my iTunes won't play the music on my iPod. I click on devices ---> my ipod; then music, and all it says is, "sync music." How can I get my iTunes to play the music from my iPod?

I am confused why would you listen to the songs from your iPod if they are already on iTunes???

I'm not sure, but try contacting iTunes themselves at Apple.com as a guess. You should be able to talk to the main guys and hopefully they'll reply.
