I am Italian & I live in the US. I am pretty used to nudity because, as you say, we allow it at the beach etc. After all, if you are freaked out by nudity, how can you walk around our cities and not be shocked? All of our statues are naked!
I frankly did not see a big deal in the Janet Jackson "boob" incident at the Superbowl (nothing more than you see on Italian TV every day). My husband is American and he freaked out over it and said he would not have wanted our kids to see that. So, although I am not at all bothered if they were to legalize nudity in the US, I don't think it will ever happen. Our culutres are too different in that respect.
By the way, I don't understand why kids should not see a naked adult body. We are all born naked. As long as it's not sexual or in an explicity pose, I'm fine with nudity. I would take my kids to a museum; there are plenty of nudes in art. I don't see anything wrong with it. It's not like my parents walked around the house naked or anything. My mother would have DIED before going topless but nudity was never a big taboo at home. It was just something that they elected not to do. My friends' parents would go topless and that was never a big deal either; I was still allowed to go sailing with them.

The regulations at the instant are not a contravention of the 1st modification (I point out the 1st modification by using fact it relatively is the closest ingredient you will locate in the form that ought to additionally be close to to the parable of the separation of church and state theory that folk use in errors). Yeah, enable's circulate forward and make it criminal, alongside with the different "why isn't marijuana criminal?" and "why isn't prostitution criminal?" questions I see here. Then we ought to have nude prostitutes smoking doobies status on the line corner attempting to get clientele. There are a pair of events in Seattle the place public nudity is condoned. After seeing a number of the folk who desire to be nude, sans clothing, it in simple terms reinforces the reason to maintain it unlawful. it relatively is going to be unlawful if for no different reason than to spare us the image of Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi exhibiting up in the abode in all their glory.

Yes. It is the natural state of things that humans should bare it all. The yanks are so afraid of any form of nudity that they cut it out of films on tv, yet they leave all of the violence which is worse for the children to see.

I personally think it should be legal. I don't see a problem with it at all. However, it's not legal because of the prudish american attitude towards sex.

No. There is no need for it. Be naked in your own house. What is the big deal about putting some clothing on.
