I'm not exactly sure if it does. I would like to hear from Jewish people on this.

Generally not. There's an article in the current issue of a Jewish newspaper in magazine that refers to a man as "the richest Jew in America" -- so if that magazine can use it, so should others. But it depends on how you say it. I knew a guy who turned out to be anti-semitic, and his first question to me was, "Are you a Jew" not "Are you Jewish" and that was a tipoff that he had a problem with Jews. But, generally it's not a problem.
A friend of mine tried saying, "Six million people of the Jewish faith were killed in the Holocaust" and I said, "No, six million Jews were killed. No one asked them about their faith before they gassed them, they were killed because they were Jews, not because of their religious beliefs."
Hope that helps.

Nope. Jews call themselves Jews.

What do well call them then besides their names? And when did Jews become an offensive word?
