I thought with was a funny and well written film(helps if you worked in a resturant I think). for the ones that have seen it, what did you think?

It was only open in 1,652 screens (http://imdb.com/title/tt0348333/business) in the US--that probably had a lot to do with it. Also, unless you worked in the service industry, you're really not going to understand the frustration and hilarity of the movie. My husband has never worked in a restaurant and just thought the movie was mediocre. I did it for years and identified completely with the cheap tippers, the dirty guys that would hit on me, and the awkwardness of running into someone from high school.

I thought it was funny, and I did work at a restaurant, but there was a lot of overkill. The whole whole ball thing was overdone and I didn't feel really connected to any characters. I don't know why it didn't do well, but I'm also not sure if I ever remeber it being advertised that it was released in theaters.

It didn't have a big enough budget to do a lot of advertising. It's like Clerks- great movie, and they rely on the fact it's great to make people see it.

I've never even heard of it.
They can't have marketed it very well, but I'll look out for it.
