I have bought a card for my partner from our son for christmas with "happy christmas daddy" on it. Should i expect one from the baby? Does your partner do this or am i expecting too much from my man?

As a man and a father, I think that what you are doing is a lovely gesture and I am sure that your partner will appreciate it, but don't expect one back unless you can get a friend or relative to suggest it to him. The trouble is, we blokes are not inclined to have those sorts of ideas without a bit of help from the ladies.

I always buy cards from the kids to their mum, right from an early age. My partner doesn't always see the point in exchanging cards in this way but its not about receiving. Just nice to see the pleasure on their face. Hold the pen in Baby's hand and then write the card....., even better and one to keep for your son when he grows up.

Your expecting too much, most men dont think that way. But you could give him the card early and put him on a guilt trip, that might work, but dont be too disapointed if you never get a card from the baby until he/she starts making them at school.

If it's the first Xmas with the baby then I would say yes but other than that I would not bother it costs too much for you to throw it in the bin afterwards
