Nice or not-so-nice place?

Depends on your age and interests. Bandon has a fantastic retirement population and some of the best beaches in Oregon. There are a lot of activities for seniors and there is a lot of shops and stores for the tourists. Of course there is now a world famous golf course too.
For younger folks, you have to find things to do yourself - like love to read (there is a great library), love to walk on the beach or go boating, or even surfing or kayaking. But if you like a hot night life with plenty of other teens/young adults to hang with, Bandon isn't the place. And if you can't handle cold, windy, wet climate in the winter, then Bandon isn't the place for you either.
