xbox 360

like someone said before, if u had $600 to buy a game system why not buy a base model xbox360 and a wii instead of paying that much for just a ps3? in the xbox360 u get ur graphics and xbox live feature and with the wii u get to experience a new way of playing games and a workout hehe. i honestly think the ps3 supporters are just feeling guilty (i dont wanna say dumb) for buying such an expensive machine so early when all the good games come out next year. so if u got $600 wii + xbox360 > ps3

I play games on my PC and swore I would not buy another console, but more and more I want to get a Wii to get into the action, and if i had 600$ to shell out on a Game System I would bye the Xbox360 and a Wii before I'd buy a PS3 I dont care how great it is.

This is briefly how I see it. (Points are all out of 10)

`` Nintendo Wii ``

Pricing: Cheapest (8 points)
Console: Not the best in terms of performance, but the controller is great with a motion sensor. Available online play. (8 points)
Games: Very fun games, Mario, Zelda and more. (10 points)

Overall score: 26 out of 30.

`` Xbox 360 ``

Pricing: Alright... (7 points)
Console: Good hardware (graphics and performance), possibly has the best online capabilities out of the 3 systems. However, the game control lacks motion sensor. (8 points)
Games: A few great titles like Halo 3 and Grand Theft Auto but the rest of the games aren't too interesting (7 points)

Total score: 22 out of 30.

`` PlayStation 3 ``

Pricing: Ridiculously high. (5 points)
Console: Probably the best hardware out of the 3 consoles in terms of graphics, performance and memory. Availability of online play. Availability of controller motion sensor. (10 points)
Games: Familiarity of the PlayStation's series of games and I love them. Final Fantasy, Call Of Duty, Grand Theft Auto are the great franchises that would support this system. (10 points)

Total Score: 25 out of 30.

So at the moment, the Wii wins. But if the PS3's price happens to drop drastically and miraculously, then it's reconsideration. As for the Xbox 360, Microsoft would need to get into a new approach to earn my attention.
