When you have children then you'll know it DOES exsist. The love a mother/father feels for their child...NOW that's what i call TRUE love! :)

Yes, it does. And I see it every day. I work in an assisted living facility. We have about 95% very elderly people who can't get along without assistance. We have a couple here who have been married for over 60 years and they are always holding hands.

And it's not always just the married people! I see grandkids come to visit their folks, and you can tell when they ain't just there so they can get a chunk of money when the old bird croaks. They really love these people, even though they look like they have one foot in the grave, and sometimes drool on the kids.

As far as the cheating thing goes, I've been married three times. Every time I thought it was "true love". Unfortunately, my partners did not believe in the expression. I never cheated, and tried hard to not even look when I was married. (I'm something of a prude when it comes to that kind of thing.) My folks are still married, and my grandparents were also until my Grandfather passed away. I'm quite sure I would be able to tell if any of them ever tried to pull a fast one.

Don't give up. It's still quite possible to get lucky. I'm 46, and am in a relationship that may be my fourth (And I hope my last!) marrige. She's a nice old bird, and old fashioned. I'm into the old values. She is too. I hope that it's finally true love.

Good luck, and Ciao!

Yes, I've one that believes that true love really does exist, but it does not come into the effect until or after the newness so to speak has wore off. The evidence of my true to my was my father's parents, my grandfather and grandmother. They were married for close to 70 years, reared 7 kids. My grandfather was not what one would have called a extremely educated man, but he took care of his family totally, he came up as an orphan so family was very important to him. My grandmother did not work outside of the house to my knowledge, I never saw or heard that she did. Took may a long story shortly after my grandpops died, my grandmoms conversation consisted of him, him and him, how much she missed him. She has passed on also, but she only lasted about year without him. It was though once he died she no longer wanted to live.

Does love mean not cheating on each other to you? Does love mean if they do cheat to forgive them and love them again? Love has really nothing to do with cheating. It is how the person is and how he or she perceives their love in their mind. Yes True love does exist but only with truly honest people. But it also takes a lot of hard work and understanding of each others needs and desires. If you are truly in love and your partner is truly in love with you too, there are ways to work at true love. But it is how you define TRUE love. Women have to understand that men are basically hunters and women are not. So to keep spice in the marriage keep your husband on the hunting path. But don't hide to hard and always get caught. As if he can't caught you, he will look for more game other places.

It seems to be a bit of a fashion to cheat. Love true and strong does exist but it means also that you have to put effort into it at times, and it's important to prefer the other person. And cherish each other innit

But that isn't true love. Not everybody cheats, some people remain faithful for life. If they were truely in love they wouldn't do it. It is very rare to find a couple who doesn't but they are out there. Perhaps true love would be forgiving someone for cheating on them. Alot of people cheat because they want lust not love, then realise lust is not the most important thing on earth.

Yes, I believe it does. Sexual desire and love are two different things, society has taught us otherwise. Sex is an act, not an emotion. There are also different forms of love, one being love between a mother and child. Though I'm not really sure if true love is always everlasting due to the fact that people change.

You have to create true love through honesty and respect communication and trust. Cheating is lieing that when the problem begin no truth. People sleep easier when they tell the truth it makes you free. Notice people that lie alot are very stressed. People that don't have a concience sleep well because they could care less.If we care and respect people more we would not cheat because we would not want to hurt that other person. We should live like this do to other what you want them to do to you and it will happen. That my prayer for the world

Lots of opinions out there on this one. In order to understand the concept of "true love" you must first define it. My guess is you will not find a universal meaning that would please everyone and there really aren't any absolutes in human behavior anyway.

What you should understand is that love is a dynamic process and it evolves with everything that surrounds it. You can't love something without changing it. Love is also not exclusive, unless you have chosen to define it that way.

Go with your heart, it is seldom wrong.

Maybe other people cheat because they just want to see if there are other people out there instead of just that one special person. If you know who you want to be with and the other doesn't let him/her have time to get to notice that. So I'd say maybe. Depending on how you feel about LOVE not on other people. I guess Love is on matter of opinion. Hope i answered your question! = )
