Whenever I go shopping,it is hell on earth. I should probably explain.
Okay,so I'm 11. I still have to shop with my mom. Whenever I try on clothes (in the girls section) hardly ANYTHING fits. I don't know whether this is because I am fat,or because I have a little advanced chest for an 11-year-old.
But this makes me cry whenever I think about it. I feel freaking worthless and like I have no meaning.
Am I totally crazy? Do I need to work out? I need a lot of help on this one, guys.

Seeing as how we don't know how tall you are and how much you weigh, we can't really say whether you're overweight. However, at 11, you might want to start shopping in the Juniors department instead of the girls' section. It took me a while before I realized I was too big for the Juniors department (I'm 25, so I don't really have any business there anyway). I'm not big. I'm just not Junior. This section will have more room in the chest for "advancements," and they have really cute stuff. Check them out the next time you go shopping. There's no sense in you getting depressed when shopping if you're this young. That's not supposed to happen till you've put on the Freshman Fifteen in college. :) Best wishes!

well, if nothing fits in the girls section, maybe try the older girls section?
i mean don't limit yourself to the girls section just because of your age! everyone developes differently so just because your friends still wear little girls clothes, that doesn't mean YOU have to.
take your mom shopping and go to the older girls section, and pick some cute outfits. i recommend you atleast try size S and then work your way up or down. don't limit yourself to one size!
lately companies are making their clothes really small.. Like i used to fit into M but now I can squeeze into a XL..

recommended companies- abercombie, gap, old navy, tommy hilfiger and even guess, um.. H&M has some cute pieces also

about the whole chest issue= you are LUCKY! take a look at the other girls your age- i bet you they don't even have a chest! be happy that you are more mature than them.. it will really help out with your social status.. trust me!

talk it out with your mom, it will solve your problems (atleast make them better) and make you two closer. take her on a shopping date, just the two of you and have fun!

don't get hard on yourself hun! =)
all the best and i hope you feel better!

Try going to the misses or juniors section. The smaller sizes may fit you better than the larger girls sizes. having a little advanced chest for an 11-year old is normal. Some may say its lucky, some may not (it depends on your point of view). Chances are you are not overweight, but without knowing your weight and height, i cant be sure. try the misses or juniors section. i know when i first started going to that section when some of my friends were still in the girls section i felt older and i liked it. good luck!

Don't worry about this at all. If you're developing early, that's ok, and in the next two or three years, everyone else will catch up, and you'll all be wearing the same clothes again.

Do you have any friends who might be having a similar experience? If so, then ask them where they shop. Maybe you could even meet at the store and pick out some outfits together.

Hey.. don’t cry .. I mean when I was your age (2 years ago) I was able to fit into every single outfit of Abercrombie… now I cant even fit into an XL…trust me the companies are making their clothing smaller every year…I don’t know why but they are…now I go to Hollister…so work out if you want but maybe going into different stores may help you ….don’t cry because that’s not going to help you at all…also about the chest problem….be happy that you even have any…some kids thing that they are defective if the don’t have any and it puts down their self-esteem… so just go into the junior section… and know that we all grow, and need to change sizes once in a while.

Have a discussion with your mom and let her know how you feel. Whenever you go clothes shopping, again, have your mom ask the sales person for some advice on the correct size clothing for you. You're not crazy - just at an awkward stage in your life. Don't give up and please don't cry.

Oh I am just like that. I'd suggest going to the women's section. I started getting my clothes from that section when I was twelve. Cause, I'm no really thin, but I've definatly got 'Features' if you catch my drift. Just get smalls or extra smalls in the womens section and you'll be fine.

do u think your fat? it could be your chest that causes alot of problems .. if you think you need to shape up a little then work out or go on a diet not an extreme one and dont cry it wont make anything better. dont think down about yourself.
