Were you trying to shut down your computer when the error message appeared. When you start or shutdown your computer, Windows runs a memory test on the RAM installed on your computer. If the computer encounters a problem, you will get an error message like the one you received. Usually it is nothing, just a false alarm. However, if the problem persists then there is a good chance that the RAM modules might be damaged. You can test your memory using the free utility Memtest which runs a series of test on your RAM. If there is any damage, Memtest will display a detailed report. The download link is http://www.memtest86.com/. Good luck.
