Thats the difference between men and women. They complain about the seat being left up, I think its time we complained about it being left down.

Nope - I also leave the toilet seat down.
It's simple mathematical logic: she always sits, and I sometimes sit (for reasons which I hope are obvious). Therefore the seat needs to be down more than 50% of the time so it makes sense to leave it down.
What ticks me off is her inability to notice that the tiny fragment of toilet paper she leaves on the roll for the next person wouldn't be sufficient for a mouse, let alone a person, but she is still unable to replace it...

No, I had 2 sisters growing up, so I always put it back down when I was done. Women seem to like that and it's not really a big deal.
Sorry, guys, but it really isn't. If I'm going to have a power struggle over something, I'm going to pick my battles better than that.

No it doesn't, just like it doesn't make my wife upset if I should leave the seat up. People can pick just the smallest things to start a fight .

I know you're asking men a question, but I just wanted you to know that when I am in a mans home I put the seat back up. That's only right if I expect him to put the seat down in my home.

Yes it ticks me off. Why should the toilet be ready for her to use and not ready for you to use? I personally insist that it is ready for no one to use. Rule in my house is that both lids go down after ever use so that no matter if you male or female you have to lift a lid. And if she throws a fit about having to put it down tell her it is good practice for when you have kids cause you don't want any todlers playing in the toilet water. good luck to you
