when your far enough along that they can see it good on the ultra sound yes. but if your not very far and the baby is small usually its hard to tell

At 20 weeks you can find out. Sometimes at 16 weeks as long as the baby is in the right position. I found out at 11 weeks cause I had a CVS. It would have been much more exciting finding out on a sonogram. But by having the CVS, I was able to know for 100%.

My doctor told me the best time to be able to tell the sex is after 26 weeks. My friend went at 28 weeks and still they could not yet tell the sex so it just depends how fast the baby is developing.

They can usually tell at around 16 weeks. But the best time is between 20 - 28 weeks. When the baby gets bigger it is harder to see as they may have their legs up.

wait till your about 20 weeks and that gives you a better chance of seeing the sex but even then there's nothing like seeing it for yourself when the child is born but i would say 20 wks thats when i found out and the docs have been right.

usually it takes at least 4 months to find out the sex. But sometimes they can not tell so good luck.

I found out at 18 weeks with my boy. They are clearly easier to see and 20 with my girl.

i have heard the earliest is 4 months but the average is 5 months.

By the 14th week the gender parts are fully formed and you can tell than. It is hard to tell because they are so small. So by the 18th week you can have a ultrasound and be able to see.
