Thesims 2 works sluggishly slow on my computer, even though I have not increased graphic effects or any of that stuff. Its making the game really boring. Please can someone out there help me!!!!!(Note I have expansion packs)

If you have a lot of downloads that can also slow down your game, so you should weed out the ones you don't use much. Make sure you have closed other programs, buy more memory, and play in window mode (to play window mode, right click the icon, select properties, and in target put -w).

A good inquiry, slow your graphics down in the options and go CTRL ALT DEL before you play and close most of the unused processes.

Buy a (better) graphics card.
Before playing, try a clean boot on your computer.

Add more memory, like 512mb. I did that and it worked a lot better.
