about a year ago. i was going 35 in a 35 i thought but there was a school there. ???? i did not know that. i was going 10 over in a school zone - $156. sucked.

About 5 years ago on a 2 lane highway near Keokuk Iowa. I was doing 65 in a 55. Funny how out of 6 or 7 cars going the same speed, the officer decides to pull over the red mustang...

September 2004 in Arizona. I was going 70 or so in a 55 zone in the middle of the desert, but got let off with a warning. 3 days earlier I got a speeding ticket for going 64 in a 55 zone on I-66 in Virginia. It was a speed trap one of the local towns has.
I got pulled over for speeding twice in July this year after I got back from Iraq in June, but got let off with a verbal warning. I guess I'm pretty lucky.

Never did. I only drove 5 times in the 70's and about 3 in 90's. Don't drive as you can see.

True story-
I get pulled over by this cop who asks me where I'm headed to in such a hurry. I tell him I'm going to Dairy Queen. He says he was gonna go there in the next few minutes too cause he was really wanting some ice cream.
I said "let me buy you some."
He followed me to Dairy Queen and I bought him some ice cream and he ripped up the ticket..
