Once you give yourself the label, bloods, crips...you obligate yourself to live up to that name&all that it stands for. A lot of people don't realize what it's like to live down there either. Life is hard at times no matter who you are, or where you live~if it was easy-you'd never learn or grow. We all have challenges to face, obstacles to overcome. Bottom line-life can suck, and the older you get, the harder it gets. The harder the lesson, the more you learn. The days are going to pass, whether you are happy, or miserable. Look for that safe place...the place of peace you go...that nobody can touch, or take away. It's there, within yourself.

Because you have a conflicting gangs to war with . Also if you proudly wear your 'colours' as most gang members do, then you are probably a target of police discrimination, and well if you are a visible minority, and repping colours it probably even hard to get a job, because people will assume you are nothing but trouble..and that your gang banging pals are probably not too far from you, there or feeling a need to cower or keep you at arms length.
