I agree... and those names are still widely used.
The best part is that everyone knows how to spell them... not like some of these non-classic names.

I like classic names too. Anna is one of my favorites as well as Elizabeth and Katherine (my favorite). But I have a harder time with the make classic names. John and David are my favorites there.

Classic names? I understand non-classic names are those that are "made-up"? Or do you have "rare" names in mind :) Not to mention that today more and more couples are "international" - how do you decide what sort of name is classic? :) Personally, I think a name is something that describes who you are - so classic names don't necessarily suit everyone.

I love the classic names! I chose very simple classic biblical names for my boys; Timothy Luke and Paul Andrew.

I like the classic names better myself, but everyone is different. It really depends on the person themselves. A lot of parents like to give their children unique names to make them stand out or be different from others.
When I have kids, I want to name my first daughter Victoria Lynn. Tori for short.

The only girl names I like that are sort of classic are Elizabeth Ava and Charlotte. Boys I do not like at all.
