Hi, any nice ideas for my babys first Christmas gift I was thinking a silver chain or something along those lines?

This is what my parents did for each of me and my sisters. They got us all gold ornaments to hang on the tree with our names and birth year enscribed on it. Mine is of a beautiful little girl with a wreath in her hair holding a lantern...quite pretty. I love it :)

My Christmas keepsake is simply my stocking. Also, there's a special ornament that I got as a baby, those are always simple and it's nice to have something you see year after year that you've had your whole life/every Christmas.
But I do love the silver chain idea, you might want to go with that. Just think simple - it's Christmas and anything you get will automatically be special.

It's my daughters first christmas also, I have decided to buy a plain gold bracelet for christmas and for each year until she is eighteen on her birthday i am going to buy her a new charm to add to it.
So the bracelet is for her first christmas but the actual bracelet will represent every year of her childhood because we're going to have a charm put on to represent that year of her life. (ie.1st birthday a baby's bottle charm, 5th something to represent starting school, a globe to represent her first visit abroad etc.) i am not giving it her till she is eighteen though because i know she will be old enough to appriciate it.
I hope this gives you a nice idea.

Mother care do a nice range for babys 1st christmas.
You could video and watch again when your baby is all grown up.

a think so you can make the babiues foot prints in plaster and amy 1st tooth and curl set all found in argos

get one of those moulding kits, and do a hand print and write Xmas 2006 on it, then bring it out every year, and you will always know how small your babies hands where x
